Titleshot Certificates and Contracts
Titleshot
The WCWF commissioner grants a titleshot to a title of your choice, for those who win a tournament that gives the titleshot certificate as an award.
Rules:
1) You need TWO titleshot certificates to challenge the World Heavyweight Champion, or the Women's World Champion, but all others require only ONE titleshot certificate.
2) You can't challenge for a title you're not enlisted to: i.e. the guys cannot go for the Women's World title, and vice versa. Also those less than level 51 can't go for the WSH title, and those above 51 not for the Junior Title, or the Light Heavyweight Title.
3) Once you've cashed in the titleshot certificate and you're in a match, it's gone, and you'll have to get a new one (win a new tournament)
4) Titleshot certificates can be saved for later and don't expire.
5) For a titleshot goes the same rule as for 'other' challenges:
You cannot defend more than two singles titles at the same time. When you have already two belts you need to give up the third. The Champion chooses which one that will be. This will only be applied when the titleshot is succesful.
6) Titleshots will be applied either immediately when asked for or by request on the next match day (either at Wednesday Wars or Sunday Showdown), regardless if the week is a defense week for the title or not. They overrule the normal defense day. If the champion is in a match or somebody has claimed a titleshot before you, you are asked to wait for that defense.
7) There are singles and tag team titleshots availaible.
Contract
The WCWF commissioner grants a contract for those who win a tournament that gives the contract as an award.
A typical contract clause: '... the contender has won a contract and will be signing it
to use it for this circumstance. He will challenge the current champion at this date.'
Rules:
WCWF-Contracts will be given and can be 'signed' to achieve various goals.
(these Contracts are not WRESTLER UNSTOPPABLE contracts).
At this moment they have only limited purposes, but when needed extra functions will be added.
1) With a contract you can invoke special matches: please check the Match Types link to see what they do.
2) You can also challenge for the some titles and bring in a partner to tag with you, so the champion will be challenged in a handicap match.
Titles who can be challenged for with a partner:
WCWF Texas State Title
WCWF State of Oregon Title
WCWF Florida Ladies
WCWF North American Ladies Title
WCWF Mid-Atlantic Title
WCWF Western States Heritage Title
Example:
- The current WCWF Texas State Champion will be able to counter a handicap match forced by a contract with his own contract. Both contracts will be lost, when this has been applied.
- The challenger will be asked first to bring in a partner.
- If the challenger agrees the champion will be given the opportunity to counter the contract.
- If the champion has no contract or has a contract but chooses not to counter, he will receive an extra bonus of double the amount of coins on a win.
- Both need to deliver a contract, prior to the match.
3) There are contracts for singles and teams.
4) Other rules will be added in the near future.
Note: the Titleshot Certificates or contracts do NOT replace regular titleshots, either based on ranking or random selection. They do add more possibilities for movement in the ranks, or add extra to a defense/challenge.
